Puff the magic dragon~

Live by the sea. I found puff’s puzzles and book with CD while doing recovery yesterday night. Finally saw puff’s physical, exactly like how I imagine it to be. And I met a few customers that came to the store before. Most of them are those who came on Saturday and they make their visit again on Sunday, however there’s this sweet and adorable lady, she is a native of china, previously she came to the store and asked me about learning English. And she wasn’t being able to speak English well. During the last visit she bought two English books. Yesterday I accidentally bump into her again. Well, as usual we had to do recovery earlier so I was walking all over the store, placing back the books to shelves. I nearly took the dictionary that she wanted to shelve. When she stopped me from doing so, she looked at me. Later, naturally she asked me questions in mandarin. I wasn’t realized it’s her until I saw her face and I’m sure that she remembers me just like how I remembered her. Seems like she need help but due to my colleague who stand at the info counter wasn’t able to understand mandarin, therefore she just kept quiet. Yesterday I felt that I got many things to blog but whenever there’re chances for me to blog, I forgot them. Sigh

report in..

I couldn’t figure out the reason why. I like SHINEE so much recently, err I should say I like their songs so much. With unique voices from onew and jonghyun, how can I not fall for their songs? As for MV, idols like them look great so can’t take my eyes from their MV. I’m addicted to ‘replay’. And ‘love like oxygen’. And ‘romeo + juliet’ and etc.

…..

Ok, it’s time. Finally I can do some report regarding my colleagues. Of course I’ll add in complain. There’re two in my K.O list, introducing M and D. M is the temporary trainee manager from KL. Super takut mati and super like to act friendly when M’s not one at all! Since M has gone, pleasant day in borders started. However, the cocky D starts to show herself. She super pandai bodek. Tuesday, the day I had unch break with both of them, their conversation is damn bored. Why I don’t have the ability to predict future? I got to stuck with the 2 of them. That’s the worst break I ever had. D kept bodek M. Today D showed more of her true behavior. There’s this arrangement where I was assigned the pre-stock take with YC. And I had to help YC out to shelve her business books. The section got plenty of books to shelve so basically both of us work like siao. We took turns lo. Then when I return to my info duty there’s this small, young little lady, politely asking for help to search a particular book. I was wrapping my books and D’s there standing doing nothing yet she said “LW, help her find the book”. What the heck? Just now you’re so eager to entertain the foreign guy yet u don’t want to entertain this girl? Finally I put down the book that I was wrapping half way and search the book for the girl. While I was checking the book, V dropped by and asked me about laptop. The search results had come out on the monitor while I was talking to V and D knows where are the shelves more than I do so basically she can get the book for the little girl but she interrupted V and I, asked me to look for the book in the shelf. WTH! I know what to do already. This is the thing u need to teach me on my first day of work, not now. I found the book for the little girl but poor V, he has to walk here and there. In the end he has to go 3places for his laptop instead of getting the exact location from me. Sigh.

……

Next, the normal list, presenting…

A, the supervisor – nice lady, efficient in her work and friendly enough.

P, one of the management trainer (cash) – have the great ability to ‘tembak’ orang, like efficient workers. Many said she’s kns but I think she’s still ok, just that u have to be careful while talking to her.

V, one of the management trainer (inventory) – a new guy, learning hard to handle all his job well, friendly, likes to joke around, kind of a thoughtful guy as he brought something for us when we need it the most.

HF, one of the management trainer (customer service) – my senior in sggs, knew her long ago, likes to say words that have hidden meaning.

S, trainer – just backed from japan for holiday. Apa she said to HF about her japan trip, I tau semuanya. Hahaha.

FD, trainer – a senior among us, in term of experience, dependable guy, works efficiently and able to count on when you need help desperately.

YC, colleague – sampat sampat so I also sampat sekali. Helped me numerous times since the very first day of my work in borders.

L, colleague – from ipoh, nice sweet, soft spoken lady. Trapped us to talk to her in hokkien and after all the rubbish we crap, she told us she do not understand what did we crap. Hahaha.

N, colleague – previously worked in borders before. Trying to make herself as pretty as possible, in fact she is.

Al and Sh, colleague – new members, tak tau them so much yet.

Then the guys working in inventory are Da, MZ, K and H. C joined the inventory recently so I don’t know him. MZ only had a few words with me but each time he tries to talk to me, the whole situation will be awkward. H tak pernah talk to me at all. K, damn annoying so ignore and last but not least, Da, someone I don’t even care whether he exist or not. Hahaha.

himitsu-the revelation

Is this real? Humans used to live in paradise. In paradise, there’s no such thing as secret. In other words, means naked. Adam and Eve tricked by some snake to cause them to take the forbidden fruit and they started to have secret by using leaves to cover themselves. GOD punished them for doing so and chase them off paradise. I like that anime – HIMITSU, THE REVELATION. Brain scanning is something really cool. The concept are like when you’re alive, you made secret. Throughout your living process, you keep them and when your life ended, you reveal them. To be exact, it’s not you to decide whether to reveal them, the authority has given to the living being to decide. Of course, if nothing is suspicious about your death, your brain will not be viewed. Those that interested in watching that anime, I welcome you to get from me but only for adults. I mean to the matured ones only as there’re too many violent and psychotic scenes like body modification, heads cut into two (just like coconut), limbs and legs are cut (very common case), bodies left to dry up and die horribly. Not to forget, the case done by KAINUMA. He killed 37 pretty and kind boys, each ways are different and extremely cruel. One of it is he drugged a boy, then skinned him alive and hang his body at a tree on park. So the dead body has no skin at all. Many cases are cruel but sad. As expected, the relationships between humans are complicated. Sigh~

……

Found another work. Wish that I can leave borders soon. I bumped into odd colleague. Sigh~
I will be back for more stories soon, as for now, time to bed. Night and sweet dream world~!

it's only words...

Day 2 (working in borders) – finally able to see what does a fellow worker at borders did after a proper training yesterday. FYI, there are 2 shifts, one starts morning and the other starts at late noon. Duration of work? Of course it’s 9HOURS! I was assigned duty at information counter the whole day for both working days, means I stood for 8hours straight each day. My leg still can take it but not my BACK. Back bone ached! Ah! I’m weak. BTW, I met the nice colleague everyone mentioned, FD, and thanks to him, I managed to fulfill some customers’ request. My biggest achievement yesterday, a guy from BOSTON came to fetch some mangas for his wife. Not simply any manga, it has to be the manga that suits kids of forth graders or fifth graders elementary school, so I have to filter those with sex scenes, too violent fights and try to avoid gothic ones. Fd was around but he stood there for seconds, thinking what should he do. I happily took up the request, recommended 2 at first. Frankly speaking, I did not read about all the mangas I recommended so I don’t know whether I did a good job. What torture me the most is working at info counter at noon. Those manusia have to do many things, ALONE. That’s what I face. I entertained two customers at a time. I run around the whole store and fd told me I was away from the info counter too long. Have to pay attention to that.

Those who love books, borders have several promotions going on. So stop by if u love books.

And those with HSBC, PUBLIC BANK, RHB, CITIBANK, AEON and MAYBANK credit cards and Jusco card, they have promotions too. Different credit cards entitled for different promotion. And those with JUSCO card, free RM5 voucher with every purchase of more than rm60 on full priced books. For mothers’ and fathers’ promo, if you want to buy a book, get a magazine and show them that you’re a JUSCO card holder, the book that you wish to buy will have 15% off. Terms and conditions apply (I read this many times during announcement).

I got to go now. Have to prepare for world war I. (to be continued)
